What's the difference between a foam and spring mattress?
An innerspring mattress has a complex network of metal springs at its core. A foam mattress, on the other hand, is made completely from foam, down to its very core. Foam mattresses don’t bounce. If you jumped on your bed as a child, you likely grew up sleeping on an innerspring mattress.
Will I get warm if I sleep on a Conforma mattress?
No, not excessively. Both the Conforma Gel and the Conforma latex are built to counteract a hot sleeping experience. The gel in the memory foam works as a cooling agent while holes in the Talalay latex allow air to circulate through the mattress instead of trapping it around your body.
How does it feel to sleep on Talalay latex versus gel-infused memory foam?
Talalay latex is much springier than gel-infused memory foam, thus offering more support than gel-infused memory foam. Conversely, gel-infused memory foam will cradle the pressure points of your body more than latex will. Latex also offers a significant amount of contouring, but not to the same degree as gel-infused memory foam.
